Aluminium profiles or corner pieces for ramp ends with a flange or fin for joining. Transition profile with a wide visible face whose surface has been grooved to offer greater resistance to sliding. Its reinforced base allows it to withstand loads and a high level of traffic. This profile is made of anodised aluminium, so it can be installed outdoors or indoors.

Applications
Novonivel Forte is a profile designed to be installed in pavements, in order to avoid discontinuities in a safe way. This profile has a wide non-slip face and is designed for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Some of its applications are:
- - Discontinuities in interior or exterior paving.
- - Garage entrances.
- - Entrances to establishments.
- - Public places.
Novonivel Forte helps to comply with the DB-SUA of the CTE, helping to bridge pavement discontinuities of less than 50 mm. with a slope of less than 25%.
Materials
Novonivel Forte is a profile manufactured by aluminium extrusion. These profiles have been anodised to improve, through this process, mainly their resistance to corrosion, mechanical resistance and appearance. The anodising process has the Qualanod quality seal, which guarantees the quality of the process and the resulting profiles. This seal regulates appearance and colour tests, thickness measurements, sealing and impregnation control, abrasion resistance, light fastness, acetic salt spray and immersion in nitric acid.
Aluminium is a material with excellent chemical and physicomechanical properties. It is light, tough, ductile, malleable and highly durable.
Instalation
- Spread plenty of gripping material on the surface where the profile is to be installed.
- Then position the profile and press it down so that the bonding material passes through the dies of the fastening flange.
- Place a tile on the fixing flange of the profile and press for optimal contact with the bonding material.
- Repeat the operation by placing tiles along the fixing flange of the profile.
- Finally, wipe off the excess material and allow to dry.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning should be carried out periodically with a soft cloth. If a neutral cleaning liquid is used, rinse with cold water and dry to remove excess moisture. Stubborn dirt can be removed with suitable mildly abrasive cleaning agents or with a grid coated with neutral polishing powder. If applying a preservative agent, in addition to leaving a thin layer of water repellent, note that it must not be yellow, attract dust or dirt or have an iridescent effect.
The use of steel wool, abrasives or paint strippers as well as strong acids (hydrochloric and perchloric), strong bases (caustic soda or ammonia) or carbonated solutions is not recommended. Citric acid should not be used either, as it dissolves the protective oxide layer on the aluminium surface. Waxes, petroleum jelly, lanolin or similar are not suitable. Solvents containing haloalkanes (hydrofluoroethers or chlorinated solvents) and setting accelerators containing chlorides should be avoided (use chloride-free accelerators).
