Non-slip podotactile profile made of extruded aluminum designed to be installed on stairs, ramps or walkways with marble, terrazzo or similar paving, to guarantee safety against the risk of falls. This profile is easy to install on finished flooring by applying adhesive. Thanks to its geometry it can be installed in any environment, especially on stairs or old areas of marble, ceramic or other materials that require greater traffic safety. Due to its small size and slim design, it integrates into any environment. Available in matte champagne and matte silver finishes, two colors in line with the latest trends

Novostrip SP is a profile made by extrusion of aluminum. The finish is natural, maintaining its natural shine. Aluminum is a material with excellent chemical and physical-mechanical properties. It is light, tough, ductile, malleable and highly durable.

  1. Clean the surfaces to be joined to guarantee a perfect adhesion. Spread abundant adhesive material on the unseen face of Novostrip SP, place the profile on the desired surface and press carefully. Finally, let the adhesive dry.
  2. You can repeat this action to place as many contiguous profiles as you like, creating your own custom pattern.

Cleaning and maintenance

Novostrip SP is resistant to water and detergents. Cleaning should be done periodically with a soft, fiber-free mop. If you choose to use a neutral cleaning liquid, it must be rinsed with cold water and dried to remove excess moisture.

The use of steel wool, abrasive or pickling products as well as strong acids (hydrochloric and perchloric), strong bases (caustic soda or ammonia) or carbonated solutions is not recommended. Citric acid should also not be used as it dissolves the protective oxide layer on the aluminum surface. Waxes, petroleum jelly, lanolin or the like are not suitable. Haloalkane solvents (hydrofluoroethers or chlorinated solvents) and setting accelerators containing chlorides should be avoided (use non-chloride accelerators).
