Novosuelo / Novopared PVC is a profile designed to protect the edges of ceramic installations. This profile can also be installed as a floor separator, countertop finish, etc.
Materials
PVC
Novoescuadra PVC is a profile made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is an amorphous polar thermoplastic polymer with great resistance to abrasion, corrosion and a wide range of chemical products. It has good impact resistance, low water absorption, low electrical conductivity, and is dimensionally stable.
Technical characteristics and tests

- Working temperature: -10ºC / 60ºC
- Resistance to chemical agents: Good except with chromic acid, sulfuric and organic solvents such as acetate and toluene - AIM-PLAS
Placement
On walls
- Flatten one of the walls at which angle you will place the Novosuelo / Novopared. Then spread plenty of bonding material on the remaining wall to be plastered and where you will place the profile.
- Place the Novosuelo / Novopared over the angle and press so that the bonding material passes through the machined holes in the fixing flange.
- Place tiles along the fixing flange by pressing for optimal adhesion.
- Continue tiling until installation is complete.
- Clean any material residue and allow to dry.
On soils
- Spread plenty of bonding material over the surface where the flooring is to be installed.
- Then position the profile and press it so that the gripping material passes through the punches on the fixing flange.
- Place a tile on the profile fixing flange and press for optimum contact with the bonding material.
- Repeat the operation placing tiles on both sides of the profile until the installation is complete. Before setting occurs, tap gently with a rubber hammer to flush the profile with the pavement.
- Finally clean the excess material and let it dry.
* If you plan to polish the floor, install the profile slightly below the tile to avoid possible damage.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning can be done with water and detergent or specific cleaner in solution. The correct use of bleach does not affect you.
The use of chromic acid, sulfuric acid, or organic solvents such as ethyl acetate, acetone, or toluene is not recommended.
